"That’s the way the cookie crumbles"

Taking steps daily to fulfil never ending expectations. Throughout the endeavour we wish to stay open towards future and at the same time experience the now as much as possible.
Engulfed by the feeling of endless crave, we mindlessly function as pieces of a machinery that is made to empower the idea of consumption.
With ruins left behind, can't help but stare at the upper side of the horizon and wonder what lies there waiting to be owned by us.
At the moment of reach, we're untouchable. The concept of tomorrow seems too immaterial to matter.
“Positive attitude is key!” - a sudden voice shouts passing by causing a distraction. Perhaps we will get lucky like we always do. Because that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Simple question to ask yourself: do you really need to see another threatening documentary or read a dystopian book to make yourself believe in dust and ashes stuck between your fingers? Fatalities caused by authorities we bow to because it so difficult to disobey standalone.
As we progress to realize the apocalypse, new tools are invented and shared among communities. Blockchain and NFTs seem to provide nothing but conflict nowadays and are hardly imagined being mainstream. However, there is a pattern embedded in human history proving that foreign can save the established.
With proper education and practices, being open to flexibility, taking small steps collectively with patience makes achieving better futures as possible as it was years ago. To form a culture, a common belief is necessary. Studies and practice happen to help domesticate all kinds of wild wolves.

For this instance, I would like to expand on the practice part and propose a list of ways on how to implement NFTs for the mission of bringing sustainability closer to home:
1. Promote NFT fundraising focused on environmental charities in public spaces. For example, propose a QR link to an NFT site somewhere in the shopping process in physical stores.
2. Display sustainability sensitive art as purchasable NFTs on digital screens & billboards in urban areas.
3. Hold special events that require a certain NFT certificate for entrance, turning paper tickets even more obsolete.
4. Introduce future scouting by replacing physical badges with NFTs.
5. Make environment sustainability volunteering practices more relevant with gifted NFT certificates.
There are just a few proposals that include less demanding actions and are possible to accomplish with what we have right now. Stepping into unknown is a risk provoking journey, but with collaboration it can become greatly rewarding, long-lasting and exciting.
